Velocity estimate assumes equal kinetic energy for each arrow weight. KE will actually increase slightly as arrow weight increases as bows are more efficient as arrow weight increases.

The KE/DW factor (kinetic energy/draw weight) is useful for comparing bows and checking your numbers. Based on published tests the approximate KE/DW factor for various designs are listed. If your KE/DW varies significantly then there is probably error in one or more of your numbers.
